We are excited to invite you to the PORTENT 2026 Annual Meeting on July 9–10, 2026 at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City. This year’s program is designed to go beyond presentations and truly focus on deployment, scale, and real-world impact for point-of-care technologies in nutrition, infection, and cancer.

Day 1 – Thursday, July 9, 2026

  • 12:30 – 1:30pm – Lecture #1 “Training the Trainers” – David Boyle, PATH
  • 1:30 – 2:00pm – Break
  • 2:00 – 3:30pm – Weill Cornell Medicine Tours (Point of Care, Microbiology, Other facilities)
  • 3:30 – 4:00pm – Discussion time
  • 4:00 – 5:00pm – Break, Flex-Time, Set up Tech Demo
  • 5:00 – 5:30pm – Quick pitches by teams
  • 5:30 – 7:00pm – Technology Showcase, Social Time, Dinner

  • 8:00 – 8:30am – Breakfast, Social Time, Day 2 Kick-off
  • 8:30 – 10:00am – Lecture #2 “Coverage and Reimbursement for Point-of-Care Diagnostics” (Kelly Pertucci, CEO, Ascend Access Healthcare)
  • 10:00 – 10:30am – Break & Social Time
  • 10:30 – 11:30am – 1:1 Discussions with Experts (Individual Team meetings with NIH, Advisory Council, Leadership, etc.)
  • 11:30am – 12:30pm – Lunch
  • 12:30 – 2:00pm – Visit to Urban Clinic showing use of POC
  • 2:00 – 3:30pm – Visit to NYC Incubator Space, POC company, Other activity
  • 3:30 – 5:00pm – Return to Weill, Closing Discussion
  • 5:00pm – Dinner and casual discussion for those remaining

PORTENT has reserved a block of 10 rooms at the Helmsley Medical Tower Guest Facility at New York-Presbyterian/ Weill Cornell Medical Center, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
